Britney Has Confirmed Her Next Single!

Britney Spears has officially confirmed during an interview for MTV that 'Criminal' will be the fourth single to be taken from her latest album 'Femme Fatale'. There have been a lot of rumours surrounding her next single as people have talked about '(Drop Dead) Beautiful' 'Inside Out' and 'Trouble For Me' being released next.
During the interview, a reporter asked Spears if she had “any plans for a new video [or] another single.” A smiley Spears coyly replied, “Yes … I don’t know if I’m at liberty to tell, but, um, I will anyways. It’s ‘Criminal.’” Spears then went on to explain why she chose the song as her next single, trying to find the words as she said, “Actually, when I first heard it, it’s just different … Nothing I’ve heard like this before.”

I don't know about you but I feel this is a great choice as this shows another side to Britney. 'Criminal' is the nearest you will get to a ballad on the album. No doubt the music video will be shot

very soon, so be sure to check my blog when it does as I will the first to upload it.

Nicki Minaj - Fly (feat Rihanna)

After the huge success of 'Super Bass' (her first top 10 hit), she is back with a bang! 'Fly' features the one and only Rihanna who has been one of the best artists this year. 'Fly' is the sixth UK single from her debut album 'Pink Friday'. The song was the stand out track from the album so I am thrilled that it finally got a release. The music video premiered early today and sees Rihanna looking very stunning indeed. This is by far the best video to date from Nicki - Very different from the very colourful 'Super Bass' video. This song has the potential to be her biggest hit to date and quite rightly so. Having Rihanna on the track will really help!
Overall: Talking about leaving the best to last - Biggest hit to date? - I think so!
Grade: A*

David Guetta - Nothing But The Beat Review

'Nothing But The Beat' is the 5th studio album from French DJ David Guetta. The album includes the huge hit singles 'Where Them Girls At' and 'Little Bad Girl'. It also includes the promo singles 'Titanium', 'Lunar' and 'Night Of Your Life'. The album is out in stores on September 29th (Tomorrow).
1. Where Them Girls At:
The lead single from the album and features Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. This was a huge summer hit which went to number 3 on the official chart. With amazing raps from both artists and a great beat this track is hard not to like. You are forever singing 'Where them girls at, girls at, wooh wooh'. Great single choice and start to the album. Grade A*
2. Little Bad Girl:
The second single which features Taio Cruz and Ludacris. With great vocals from Taio cruz and the final verse which is an epic rap from Ludacris. This was a favourite of mine and others too as it reached number 4 on the official chart. Great follow up and just as catchy, but I prefer Where Them Girls At. Grade A
3. Turn Me On:

This features Nicki Minaj who featured in 'Where Them Girls At' but this time she is back singing. Yes you heard that right, Nicki Minaj is singing! But don't expect too much as it is full of autotune but that does not matter as this song is incredible. The chorus is one of the best of the album and definitely a stand out track. But obviously you can't have a Nicki Minaj track without rapping so there is a short, and I mean short - only 10 second rap. Grade A*
Sweat:

Obviously you all know this one as this was one of the biggest hits of the summer. Yes we all know this song is Snopp Dogg's and featured on his album 'Doggumentary'. But David Guetta produced the track so it was only fair that it featured on his album too. This song is dead catchy with an amazing danceable beat. A song you could go out and listen to and get so drunk!  But a little to repetitive maybe? - Grade A
5. Without You
'Without You' features Usher who is one of the biggest stars in the music industry. His vocals in this track are insane with an typical beat that David does best - this song just is just a smash hit! The chorus is very catchy indeed with Usher's vocals being pushed to the limit. I would love this song to be a single. Grade A*
6. Nothing Really Matters
Nothing Really Matters features Will.i.am and I have to say I am disappointed by this track. Will.i.am is a genius but he really fails to achieve anything in this song. This for me is the worst off the album by a long way. Its a shame because I would have put money on it that David Guetta + Will.i.am = Hit! The only good thing to come out of this track is the beat, the breakdown is just epic! You never know it could be a track that is a grower but we will have to wait and see. Grade B
7. I Can only Imagine
I Can Only Imagine features Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. This song does use a lot of autotune but you forget that when it is a great track. Chris is on fire in this with his amazing vocals and the beat is just immense, David this has to be one of your best. Lil Wayne makes this track step up to another level with his skills. This has to be a single as this could be an international smash. Grade A*
8. Crank It Up
Crank It Up features Akon, who this year has failed to make an impact on the official chart  but that has not stopped David Guetta collaborating with him. This is another song that is pure magic because of the beat and its so catchy. The chorus is stuck in your head all day but is supported by a huge amount of autotune. Grade A*
9. I Just Wanna F**k
I Just Wanna F**k features Timabaland & Dev. This song is by far the rudest song on the album but it doesn't mean it is the worst. Dev's vocals are just typical Dev and you can hear that Timbaland's vocals are fairly auto tuned. This song is very different from all the rest on the album and is a clever collaboration. I think it really works but some might disagree as people are saying it is a track that you skip. I disagree as it does deserve a listen. Grade B+
10. Night Of Your Life
Night Of Your Life features Jennifer Hudson and it is the final promo single, countdown to the album. This track is the biggest surprise for me because we see Jennifer doing a completely different style to what she is used to. We are used to seeing her produce these huge ballads showcasing her incredible voice but this is the total opposite. A huge dance track which still showcases her powerful voice. This song is being compared to Rihanna's huge hit 'Only Girl In The World'. I am a huge fan of this song and I love it even more every time I listen to it. Grade: A*
11. Repeat
Repeat features Jessie J. This was the track that I was the most excited about hearing. But has it lived up to my expectations?
Yes it has! This is the stand out track from the album by a mile. The whole album was delayed because at the last minute there was a chance for David to collaborate with Jessie. Nobody in their right mind would say no to that, so he took the opportunity and the end result is just incredible. The title just sumps the song up as it is always on repeat . Jessie J is incredible in this, with the first verse just her singing at her best, then all a sudden the beat gets going and the chorus starts. = Pure Magic. This needs to be the next single as this is his best track ever! Grade: A*
12. Titanium
Titanium  features Sia and was the first promo single, which was the countdown to the album. This is the last track of the standard edition and is a great way to end a brilliant album. Sia's amazing and haunted vocals make the chorus epic but you can't forget the legendary beat throughout. The original version features Mary J Blige but Sia's version made the final cut. Grade A*
You can see why Sia's version was piced over Mary J Blige's version.
13. Lunar
Lunar features Afrojack who is another DJ. This also was a promo single too and was included in the countdown to the album. Lunar sees the two biggest and the best DJ's in the world teaming up together for this world class track. They use beats that I have never heard before, I didn't even think they were possible. This song has got a lot of DJ support, and quite rightly so as this is a masterpiece. Grade A*

Overall: The album lives up to its name 'Nothing But The Beat'. David Guetta has proved to us yet again that he is the best DJ around and that this album is his best yet. Keeps improving each time. With a whole range of sounds and artists this has to be one of the best albums released this year so far.
Skip: Nothing Really Matters (feat. Will.i.am)
Highlight: Repeat (feat Jessie J)
Grade: A*

Leona Lewis - Collide Music Video

After speculation about when the 'Collide' music video will premier as it is released in two weeks time. The official music video is here!
Leona looks incredible throughout this masterpiece, the new look was definitely a great move. I love the way that she has kept the emotion showing through the video instead of a huge dance video! Great move in the right direction and has proved that she is a dance diva as well as a powerful vocalist. Her vocals during the chorus are insane!
She has also confirmed that the title for her third studio album will be called 'Glass Heart'. It will be out on November 28th.
'Collide' is out on September 4th.
