Just in time for Summer, Rihanna lets the top down and goes for a ride on the cover of 'Cheers (Drink To That)'. 'Cheers' is the sixth UK single from her 5th studio album 'Loud'. Loud hit number 1 all around the world. The single follows up from the hits 'Only Girl In The World', 'What's My Name', 'S&M', 'California King Bed' and 'Man Down'. This song is perfect for the summer because the lyrics just sum up summer completely. That's why I think she has released it. Releasing six singles from one album is risky, but is it a risk worth taking?
I think so, 'Cheers' has hit radio stations and has had an increase of radio airplay. I know that Capital FM love the track and are playing it more and more over the upcoming weeks. This is a song that you can turn up in the car and just chill to. Also this song will be huge at weekends as the song is so relevant. It samples Avril's hit 'I'm With You' with the 'Yeah yeah' part. Cheers is climbing the iTunes chart as we speak and is currently at number 48. The official music video has not premiered yet, so check back in the next few weeks for the video to be uploaded.
Overall: Risk worth taking, perfect summer tune!
